Boatload of Links
I haven’t done one of these in a while and today there is a boatload of information coming my way so I thought I would pass some of it along to you. In no particular order:
- All I can say is, I appreciate the man and his organization for many things, but this is a major reason I try to distance myself from him.
- Exciting news out of Grace To You for those of you who appreciate John MacArthur (as you should).
- If this is true it is way too funny. Swooning the Chiefs but now switching to the Lions? Could it get worse?
- I knew that the school was heading this direction from my experience there but I did not realize it was this serious.
- Here comes the next version of Windows aptly named “Windows 7”. Sounds like they are hoping to launch it mid-next year. So long Vista (though I am one of the few who like Vista)!

What's wrong with the Dobson stuff?
Hey Bryan,
Northwestern Bible College looks like its facing a tough fight on the direction of the school. Although it looks like there is alot written attacking the current leadership, all I really saw was a charge of pandering to post-modernism. But I couldn't tell what the specifics of this charge is. Do you know any more about what's really going on?
Bryan,
I am so disheartened about Northwestern. Obviously without inside knowledge about what is really going on, it is hard to assess a correct viewpoint. It is just so hard to see a division happening. I have seen churches disintegrate over such divisions. Let's pray that the leaders of Northwestern can work through this and get the college back on track.
Hey Shaun,
Let's just say I find his apocalyptic outlook unhelpful for Gospel purposes. I appreciate his motives, but I think he more so hurts the cause of the Gospel than help it.
Tom and Dad,
Even while I was going to school there was an obvious tension between faculty departments and even members of those departments due to theological differences. It was never expressed to students, but any observant student should have seen it. I'm surprised, however, that it apparently goes all the way up to the administration. What is hard for me is that I know and respect voices on both sides. My hope is that it is just a breakdown of communication and management skills. The charge of post-modernism, however, I think is very serious because the originator of that charge is a man I have immense respect for. I just hope it is not as serious as it is being portrayed.

Bryan, I have been talking to professors at NWC and wanting to get the whole picture. I was shocked to hear that there has been attempts to remove the Bible dept. from the college. Have you looked at friendsofnwc.com yet?
Tomlinson' letter is only a drop in the bucket I've been told.
We have lost many faculty and staff to the unwise administrative moves.
The best thing we can do is pray!
